lunar eclipse

I saw the biggest telescope. It was bigger than this room. The moon looks like Mars. And I got to see Mars. These guys told me how to see Mars. And it was two hours after I went to bed. And when my dad woke me, I got a soda. Not a Sprite soda, but a Root Beer Soda.

night time story telling

Marshall:
"There once was this boy called Little Alfred.
He saw what the lava looks like. It kinda looks like jello.
Well, he built a boat out of a palm tree and then he took a trip all the way around the world, like he built a tug boat actually, not out of wood. He built it in a factory, because that was his work
He went all the way around the world.
He went to Tokyo, California, Kentuky, Indiana and everywhere. And guess what?
He was looking for this little boy named,...
Anyway, he forgot where he was and then he was on the moon. He built a really special ship made out of legos. And then, guess what? Guess what? He found out that there was buried ice, because of a comet. He went all the way around the universe. He travelled all the way... (this is crazy!)... he travelled to another place outside the universe, a parallel universe. He even travelled infinity miles."
Stewart:
"Once upon a time there was a Stewart named Joseph. And he got to Stewart to the monster. And Stewart cried in my room. He got a boat. A monster take his boat."
Marshall:
"A sea monster."...
"So, where was I? Oh, his family went with Little Alfred. It was a survival ship. The space ship makes food, like this is a magic trick... it makes it from the ice from the planets.
So, the family was named, um, Texas Johnason. And, they met this alien. And then, the family got together and adopted the alien, like his brother. The alien's name was Robert.
Stewart:
"Once upon a time, there was Jimmy Johnson, 41, Jimmy Johnson. He went in his car and then Stewart got hit by a car. And he wants his mommy, and he want his daddy and mommy. He go back to the race and then he go back to Japan."
Marshall:
"Well, they asked him if he wanted any corn. He said,"Yes, I would. I lived on the planet called Corn Field." So what happened is that the ship crashed and it went through the thing and the people survived. It was like a ship that ran forever and it never ran out of batteries or whatever. It went through something and didn't get crashed. It's like this special shield that keeps it from getting crashed. And they lived on this ship forever."
Stewart:
"Once upon a time, Stewart got hit by a car and he want his mommy and daddy."

green screen

They mix the two shots and it ends up with us in front of the picture and we're not really standing in front of the house.
The background I would choose would be a volcano and the person would be climbing it. And the lava would explode and the person would explode but not really because of the screen.

Toby invited me to his birthday party. I said that it's great that he invited me to his birthday party.

magic sand

Do you know what magic sand does Uncle Matt? Well, it is stuff that floats, sticks to your finger and keeps dry when you touch it. Isn't that cool Uncle Matt? That's why I call it magic sand.

robotic toy army thing

I built a robot at the Children's Museum. It was cool. It just moved. I built it with these things that had holes in them and you could poke them into the other holes like those lines down there, Uncle Matt and everybody. It transformed into three things, a boat or a car or a flying thing. It can shoot missles and grenedes that are on fire. And well, it can do nothing else besides those four things. I get on it and control it. Those orange things are the seat. You go under there and then you can have a seat.

new library

We went to the new library. I took a picture of the cafe. There are cookies there.
My favorite part was the theatre. You get to act out your own stories there. There were these places called the Group Club. You get to, um, I can't remember. Then there were these things like whoopie cushions, pods to sit in.

food restaurant "boys always go first"

This is a meal; apple pie and clementines and squash and bologna sandwich and cucumber. It is delicious, it's scrumptuous. I made it out of playdough. I think the apple pie is the best. But the squash... yeee, yuck. And the cucumber and apple pie... YUUUM!
Well, I made it with Katherine. My mind made it up.
Only boys go to this restaurant. Girls don't go there because its all painted Nascar and doppermans and that's boys stuff and fast cars and soldiers. And they have parsnips at that restaurant and he never orders parsnips. Hey mommy, how about the next meal we make, how about this... we make "parsnips"(whispers) for Paw. We'll dare him to eat it, we'll force him. Because Uncle Matt always gives Paw a poke on the rib.
That's all I want to say. Bye.

ladies dancing and prancing

We saw a performance yesterday and they put this blue glittery stuff on this clear bags and they pulled a string and they put this glittery stuff on the bags, and they pulled the bags up and up and up and up, like the sky. Up above the rock and the rock held it up and they turned the lights off and then the girls turned some flashlights on and went behind the bag that was made out of of the sky and they turned flashlights on and they looked like stars twinkling in the sky.
They looked like fairies. They were amazing.

That's all I want to say. Bye.

We put a blue picture on because they put blue glitter on. Did you see where they pulled that up? The glitter came down slowly, like fingers.

Stewart Pulled Back a Muscle

Stewart pulled his muscle back. I'm sorry, Uncle Matt, but he did. He pulled back an ear muscle. And then we took him to the Emergency Room at the hospital. I'm sorry, but we did. And then they came back last night. And Stewart was feeling alright today!

special christmas tree ornaments

We went to Frank's Nursery to go get our Christmas tree. And also, we decorated it. Here's a picture Uncle Matt.
Uncle Matt , and also, it was fun getting our Christmas tree. It was really late at night when we got our Christmas Tree. It was like 2 hours past our bed time. It was fun decorating our tree.
There were roses inside the Christmas tree garden. We we went by the pointsettia roses and were playing there. It was really cold that night.
This was a true story.
The End.

Stewart says:
"We see the fireworks. Look at our tree Uncle Matt."

Museum Fun Trip

I went to the museum today. It was fun. The slide was fun. I liked it. It was so cool. I went to the snow castle exhibit. It was so fun. Uncle Matt, you should go to the snow castle exhibit when you get back. I hope I can throw snowballs at you. And play in the pool. I built bricks over this fort thing under the snow castle. And there were these little figures in the window. And I stared at them and stared at them until I helped them get some more snow blocks. And also we saw one of our friends there. We saw Harper's mom. I heard "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" on a speaker at the museum. Uncle Matt, do you know the museum. It's a fun place. Do you know it? That's all I want to say. Bye.

It was fun. I painted with Katherine.

I painted with Katherine. It was fun! It was cool! It was awesome! It was amazing! It was exciting!

Nigel screamed

kiaah, giyu, kiyu, ka, kau, kaaa, ikah, kiaah.
That's how Nigel screams Uncle Matt.

I saw the movie at the zoo and Uncle David said, "Sack of potatoes, sack of potatoes" and Uncle David said, "Whaaaa!"

It was a fun time playing with Nigel like that. He was going, "kiaah, giaahh, kiaah!" He was standing and he was pushing himself up on the chair by the train table. It's in the green room now, where you used to sleep and where we used to jump on you. The train table is our lego table now!

That's all I want to say, bye.

Lego Vision Rescuers

Once there was 10 little men, and they were rescuers. They had shooters on their car. They're pointing at you, Uncle Matt, so be careful. Maybe you can play it with us next summer. Nice and relaxing.
The rescuers were everything's rescuers. They rescued everything in the whole world. They rescue alive stuff but they don't rescue dead stuff, because they're already dead.
They have this guy who has a propeller on his head so he can save people from bad people. They shoot guns at people. They're supposed to get bad guys. If they find someone who's hurt and sick they put special powers into them through their weapons.
The one guy has laser vision and he finds somebody with these things right here and then he turns his head over, like this, and then he shoots his laser vision and it explodes and then fire runs over bad guys (guy with grey wheel-well on his head).
Bldeu, Bldew... he's bending his whole head over and he's shooting your camera. I got your camera, mom. Now your camera is shooted to peices.
The End.
Uncle Matt, this is a pretend story.

That's all I want to say. Bye.

the first cow I petted

I liked petting the cows. It was fun. It was cute. They were baby cows.
We were at Traders Point and we got our turkey. When we got a turkey it was dead and not alive. When you gave it a touch it was not crying.
I liked Traders Point but we had to go.
When we said goodbye to Joe.
(just trying to make a rhyme Uncle Matt)
Love, marshall

mask-ing-o

I have an idea. Maybe we can make masks with stiches.
It's called an alien monster and it has two-hundred eyes. It has stiches on it and it has some googely eyes and it has a scary face.
I created it with tape for the stiches and I taped some sticks on. Then I used the googley eyes by coloring them and I cut the face out.
I was building something else and then I said, " I know... I want to build a mask too." (my brain said that.)
My brother's is a ghost. I made it for him. He's saying, "Oooohh, Booooo, Booowhooo" (said in a scary voice). His eyes were big and mine were small.
That's all I want to say, Bye.

tractor

I was at Uncle Phil's farm with Uncle Phil and Pa Gary.

I went on the tractor and I even got to drive on the tractor. We drove in the fields. I know that he grows tomatos and popcorn. He sells them to the store, of course. And that was fun. I loved it. It was cool. It was awesome.

And also, I got to ride on the airplane. Uncle Phil drove the airplane. We flew by daddy's old office and I saw lot's of cars, (it must have been Thanksgiving) and houses. What a beautiful view. You should have seen it mommy. There should have been another seat for you and Nigel. We didn't have a seatbelt. We flew over the lake, you know where we used to have parties and fireworks and parachute fireworks that shooted parachutes out.

And also, I got to see the pigs. I just saw them when I was out of the pig barn when I looked inside. I went in the pig barn and I petted the pigs too. The pig barn was filled with pigs and they were eating little rices of grain.

mama cake

Katherine and I made a cake for mama.
